The SR20 and SR24 are the best choice for application
in uninsulated buildings.
These doors are manufactured from 20 & 24 gauge
commercial quality galvanized steel
with a baked acrylic primed finish
and feature deep ribbed construction for added strength.
For heavy industrial applications such as mining,
pulp and paper or high security
such as law enforcement facilities,
the SR16 and SR1626 are proven leaders.
These doors feature a flush exterior face
and are manufactured from commercial quality
16 gauge galvanized steel
with a baked acrylic primed finish.
These doors have all the advantages of the SR20 & SR24
plus the added strength of the 16 gauge
steel construction.
All muntins and endstiles are attached to the door face
with a coated rivet system which,
unlike spot welding, does not destroy
the protective characteristics of the galvanizing process.
An integral S.A.E. lifting pin is a standard feature
in the bottom section of all
Richards-Wilcox steel Rolltite doors.
This allows for easy replacement of bottom rollers
and saves on service and maintenance costs.
Although quality insulation packages are available
for both the SR20 and the SR24 doors,
we recommend the more energy efficient
Thermatite products, where insulation is important.
The model SR1626 comes with a standard insulation package
featuring semi-rigid fiberglass
and 26GA pre-painted cover sheets.
