Smoke Control

When building codes require public spaces to be protected by smoke barriers, Cookson's smoke control doors provide the answer. Tucked away above a ceiling, these doors remain out of sight until called upon to become active. Smoke control door features include the following:

	Fire rating of 1 1/2 hours without glass light.
	Maximum size of 14'-0" wide by 9'-0" high.
	Perimeter seals to retard the passage of smoke.
	Automatic self-closing feature with controlled downward speed activated by fusible link or building alarm system.
	Choice of push-up, crank or motor operation.
	Curtain finishes include FinalCote^TM, ColorCote, primed steel, and #4 finished stainless steel.
	Standard thumbturn and optional cylinder locks.
